Due to the hustle and bustle of the Thanksgiving holiday season, I have been neglecting to bring you content. On Black Friday I was running around trying to fill orders and found myself wiped out by noon. I needed to get out and get some fresh air, then BAM! I got the call that all the boys were heading to Mather to warm up and then hit some new school.
It was just what I needed. Everyone skated good and I believe we might even have a new commercial in the can. If that wasn’t enough we started to roam around this school and we stumbled upon a drained olympic sized pool. Now the pictures don’t give this beast justice because the pool had a layer of water and it made it so sketchy. Along with that, if your board was to get loose it was going to be swallowed up by a two feet deep black sludge lagoon.
I will say the highlight of the night was upon leaving the school, Parker pulled off his hood and I saw his hair. It was amazing, I was blown away at what he had hiding under that hood. I have a whole new respect for Space Junk! Please enjoy the visuals.

Classic Mather meet up. Notice Parker is putting Richard’s board together. I’m really starting to think that Rich is a undercover Diva.

Kendo! The Pride of San Jose!

Billy was pulling his weight as always. The best TM in the biz.

Dane had some crazy grinding stone that is used to smooth out ledges. I’m never shocked to see what the SHUGHE Crew has in there bag of tricks.

This wax monster you see had the nick name The Brick!

Space Junks own Parker hit this wallie up and over. This picture doesn’t really give it justice.

Blake and Kennedy resting after working towards a new HA commercial.

Parker was posted on top the olympic size diving board. This was just moments before I was exposed to what Parker has hiding under that hood.

Notice how Dane has perfect form on this plank. No surprise since he had help with the new blinged out ears.

Kendo was blasting this wall and almost went into the two feet deep black lagoon a few times.

This shot was to show how deep this pool is and also to tease Sam. Sorry Sam, we had to…

Me and Dane pulled the double flashlight app while Richard got this one over the light.

Last Friday night was Omar Salazar’s Nike SB release party for his new Shoe. The event was held at PLA in Folsom CA. In conjunction with this release, Spitfire was unavailing Omar’s new “Strike Anywhere” wheel and new video. Ben Lutes (owner of PLA) invited the HA crew out to partake in the festivities.
The event went great and no surprise, since Ben and Omar are class acts. We had some good laughs and talked some business. There was a small after party that followed and I’ll just say it was definitely memorable.
Big thanks to Omar Salazar, Ben Lutes (PLA), DLX, Joe Brook (Thrasher), Jeff Landi (The Skateboard Mag), Greg Hunt and Mike Richins (Nike). Please enjoy the visuals from that night. Also, keep a look out for some upcoming projects coming out of the HA and PLA camps.

This is classic Omar. Always up to something sketchy.

Omar is always so great with the kids. Our boy Ped was there with his son and Omar hooked up a new Spitfire poster for him.

A lot of amazing photographs of Omar were on display that night. Thanks to Joe Brook, Greg Hunt and Jeff Landi pictures. Their work is so inspiring.

Blake and Billy talking about upcoming Project Grey game plans.

Just as we got there, Calvin was heading out.

Omar’s new Spitfire promo was playing all night.

Billy, Russ and Mike Richins from Nike where holding it down in the back of PLA. Not sure if Bill was trying to pose as if he was making deals.

Matt Mullin was there and was putting his camera in everyones face that night.

Billy and Omar.

Eddie from FTC Sacramento came out to show support.

Richard and Will trying to convince Bill to invest in there YGRN movement.

Judd and Billy. I’m unsure on what is actually going on here but either way its Judd, so I’m backing it.

Richard was demanding I take a picture with this Justin Beiber look a like.

Russ got this shot off of me. Not too often that I’m on this end of the lens.

Typical release party aftermath.

Preston and Matt Pailes were fired up talking about Boston! It got loud so I bailed after this picture.

We finally wrapped up our night with a well deserved meal at one of Downtown Sacramento’s best spots; The Monkey Bar. When the food finally came we all decided to take it outside and enjoy the great October weather that Sacramento was giving us.
Fitz had the whole group laughing with his crazy stories about some of the biggest names in skateboarding. I really wish I could share them but its classified.
Everyone had a great day and I cant wait to make a trip out to San Diego and skate some of Dave and Fitz local spots. These guys are not only rippers and have so much insight and experience in the skate industry. They are genuine and that’s just not a quality you find to often in this crazy world.

With the Sun falling quick we hightailed it to Mather Skate Park. HA Critical TM and Project Grey CEO wasted no time and jumped right into a heavy sesh of R&R.

Dave just goes for it and hits this steezed out front nosegrind. Dave has so many tricks up his sleeve.

Now that the crew was warmed up, Mike pulls this glory line and all I could yell was, ” Who says lines are dead!!!”.

Mr. Camera Man himself, Russ V had the big guns on deck to capture all the highlights.

I was so motivated by the the amount of tricks being thrown down I gave it go with this blunt slide to fakie manual out. But, I really feel the best part of this picture are the reflectors on my Dekline’s.

This shot of Fitz tells the story of so many skaters. The look of victory when rolling back from getting that line on film.

And…. It’s time for the playback.

With a rebel yell, Russ shouts the anthem of the day, “You’re on another level!!”.

The sun was gone and the entire crew is starving but, Dave was determined to get this last trick in. After a handful of try’s, Fitz says, “Next try and I buy dinner”. With an offer like that I think Dave felt he had to put all he had into it. He took his last swig of liquid courage and he shouts out, “Bieeeeebel!!!!!!”, In hopes of channeling some of Bieeeeb’s back nose grind energy.
Now in a way, Dave landed the back nose around the whole corner ledge but he slipped a bit on the roll out. Now if Dave was older then 30 or hell even close to 30 I would of gave him the make. But sorry rules are rules its bolts only! Until your in the dirty 30s…
