I spent my Saturday at Street League , the current biggest thing to happen to contest skateboarding, over at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas NV. This was Street League’s last stop in a 3 contest series. I watched the first 2 on ESPN2 and this one was by far the most exciting. The finalist (shown above): Shane O’Neal, Chris Cole, Paul Rodriguez, Chaz Ortiz, Ryan Sheckler, Nyjah Huston, and Greg Lutzka were narrowed down from a highly talented group. ESPN2 will air the footage this Wednesday 9/29 5pm PST , 8pm EST.

So immediately after everything is over the demo crew steps in. It’s so amazing how fast they can build and tear down a street course of this magnitude in such a short amount of time.

So. Ironically, Autumn decided to take Summer’s place in terms of temperature here in Los Angeles. Any rate. Came across White Denim over the weekend. I’m actually listening to them at this very moment, as I get down with some HA business.

The band had recently compiled a number of tracks and packaged it as a record known as Last Day of Summer. They are offering the album as a free download. I’m going to link to the site where there the download link is available. Enjoy, friends.
