An Epic Weekend: The Park

bq7poyjw

Epic Indoor Skatepark is a facility spanning 36,000 square feet. The park, which opened this past Spring, is located outside of Sacramento and houses incredible skateboarding terrain. Everything imaginable seems to be under their roof.

This past weekend, Marc and myself had a few sessions. In this first gallery installment of images, we’ll focus on the park itself. The sushi dish is one of the favorite obstacles in the park.

I Choose You

Basicali is a dope lyricist coming out of Los Angeles. Check out the video to his track “I Choose You”, Produced by the homie ILL JACKSON. The video was directed by the notorious Marlowe McNulty. There’s a cameo from ILL JACKSON, Thurz (U-N-I), El Prez and Dale Danja (Perfect Strangers) as well as one us Critical Brothers. Here’s a hint, I’m rocking a HA shirt (yeah, shameless plug). Hit the jump, of course, to watch the music video.

Pier 7 Retrospective

udlrzcqh

Karl Watson gives a cool interview regarding the history of Pier 7. There is no embed but click here to see it on the Globalskateboarding.tv site. Speaking of Karl Watson, he did a mini top five on crailtap about a month ago that is worth mentioning. Check it here. As well, minor fact for the masses… If you Google the term “Pier 7″ and look for images, “3rd and Army” also pings as a related search.

So the link to Karl’s mini top five is on YouTube. Watch it after the jump.

Our friends at Mojo Labs got a shout out, regarding their octodrives, on It’s On with Alexa Chung. The episode features an interview with Pete Wentz and Mark Hoppus. Alexa’s awkwardness is great. With that said, hit the jump to check out the interview. BTW, the Mojo mention is at the end.

The 42nd Way

q452oi71

Since the recent induction of hacritical.com, this current post is our 42nd. The number 42 is a very important number for HA Critical. Even previous to the creation of the HA company and the Critical brand. Just thought it was important to recognize it.

As we continue to establish our brand and distribute product, the Brothers Critical (Marc, Clint and myself) will continue to post interesting things we like, provide info on those related to HA Critical, showcase our Critical lifestyle and, of course, let you know about our latest goods. The part about our goods being the most important.

Throughout the next few weeks we’ll be creating a new theme for the site and will finally have our official online shop ready, so you can cop our tees! Thank you kindly for reading. And now back to your  regularly scheduled program of organized chaos in the form of bloggings on the internets…
